We have seen how the pandemic has impacted education, affecting our students by restricting their access to quality and consistent learning – with this as our driver, we wanted to be able to give back, which led to our Youth Masterclass; Look In to Look Out.
This session was designed to reassure students that it’s okay not to know what the next few years look like for them, and that a lot of the growth and learning comes from the journey. There were lots of practical tips around CVs and interviews, and introspective activities to develop their understanding of self and how that impacts team work. We would like to give a big thank you to our guest speakers, Amar Ali & James Elliot who took out time to shared insightful and personal stories about their professional journeys!
We had some great feedback on the impact of the session and we’re looking forward to more events like this in the future! Thank you to Q5’s Connie Krarup & Rob Amissah for hosting the immersive session.
