GIPSIL works with children, young people and families in some of the most disadvantaged communities in Leeds. They offer counselling, housing, employment, skills and apprenticeship support through their various services such as The Beck, Our Way Leeds, Elevate and Engage Leeds. They have a website and social media presence however until recently it has not been managed centrally.
GIPSIL asked for our support with reviewing and refreshing their website and social media, ensuring it’s fit for purpose and underpinned by a clearly defined plan, including agreed objectives aligned with each of their stakeholder groups. Ultimately helping them to define a consistent ‘look & feel’ which could be implemented across all platforms.
We held two virtual workshops where we reviewed their current environment, their competitors and their social media goals for each of their current and future platforms. We reviewed GIPSIL’s website and social media accounts, sharing our thoughts insights on opportunities for improvement. We also ran an idea generation exercise to help them prioritise their goals and ideas, and identified the stakeholders they could engage to make them a reality.
In addition to the above, we also shared our ideas around virtual events and challenges that GIPSIL could run on their social media platforms to engage with their target audience and personas to raise awareness of GIPSIL, as well as some good examples of how to successfully showcase their case studies on social media.
“Taking part in the Q5 Pop Up was a brilliant experience as it gave us the opportunity to have our social media and website looked at with a fresh, and knowledgeable, pair of eyes. It was great to be able to work through challenges with the Q5 team and I left the workshops feeling inspired with new ideas to implement at GIPSIL”
